Maintenance Mechanic

About the role

We are seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join DAVE CUT MAKE & TRIM INC. in Scarborough, ON. The role involves assembling, maintaining, and repairing a range of stationary industrial machinery to ensure safe and efficient operation.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical equipment and stationary industrial machinery according to specifications.
• Detect, troubleshoot, and resolve irregularities and malfunctions in equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications to determine work requirements.
• Repair or replace defective machinery parts to restore functionality.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on machinery to minimize downtime.
• Operate machining tools to fabricate replacement parts as needed.
• Install new machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Conduct safety inspections of equipment to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation of work performed.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
• 1 to less than 7 months of experience in mechanical maintenance.

• Blueprint reading.
