Production Helper

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Production Helper to join our food processing plant. You will work on the shop floor in a cold/refrigerated environment, supporting the flow of raw materials, finished products, and packaging throughout the production line.

Key responsibilities

• Transport raw materials, finished products and packaging materials.
• Measure and dump ingredients into hoppers of mixing and grinding machines.
• Feed flattened boxes into forming machines to construct containers.
• Remove filled containers from conveyors and manually pack goods into bags, boxes or other containers.
• Load and unload processing machines, checking products and packaging for basic quality defects.
• Assist process control and machine operators as needed.
• Clean machines and immediate work areas.

Required profile

• Ability to perform repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods.
• Good manual dexterity, attention to detail and ability to bend, crouch or kneel.
• Physical strength to handle loads up to 23 kg (50 lb) regularly and occasional loads over 45 kg (100 lb).
• Efficient interpersonal skills, reliability and a team‑player attitude.
