Production Associate

About the role

The Production Associate supports the efficient processing of donated goods, ensuring that product quality, sorting, and pricing standards are met while providing a welcoming environment for volunteers.

Key responsibilities

• Sort and price donated products according to established quality and pricing procedures.
• Assist volunteers with product sorting, pricing, and donation handling.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe workroom and processing area.
• Cover the cash desk and operate POS systems and cash registers as needed.
• Support the Production Manager and General Manager with additional tasks.

Required profile

• Self‑motivated, initiative‑taking and accountable.
• Strong interpersonal skills; able to work with a diverse group of volunteers.
• Physical stamina to stand all day, lift over 30 lb, and perform repetitive movements.
• Valid Alberta driver’s licence.

Required skills

• Experience with POS systems.
• Experience operating cash registers.
