Product Owner – Senior Consultant (Databricks) – Business Consulting

About the role

The Product Owner will lead the definition and delivery of product capabilities within the Risk and Controls domain, focusing on Risk Control Self‑Assessment and monitoring platforms. Working in an Agile environment, you will partner with business, risk, compliance and technology teams to translate regulatory requirements into scalable product solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Own the product vision and value‑stream strategy for the Scrum teams.
• Maintain and prioritize the product backlog for risk and control capabilities.
• Lead functional design, story mapping, backlog refinement, sprint planning and prioritisation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to create features that meet business goals.
• Facilitate backlog decomposition, define acceptance criteria and break down large stories for sprint delivery.
• Identify and manage cross‑team and cross‑platform dependencies, highlighting risks early.
• Participate in testing, review sessions and support releases to production.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Product Owner in Agile/Scrum settings.
• Hands‑on experience with Databricks is mandatory.
• Strong ability to work with risk, compliance and technology stakeholders.
• Experience managing multiple Scrum teams and coordinating dependencies.
