Product Developer – Full‑Stack & AI Solutions

About the role

OpenRoad Auto’s IT Business Technology team is seeking a Product Developer to design, build and maintain modern full‑stack web applications and AI‑powered solutions that support automotive retail operations across Canada.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain full‑stack web applications using React, Next.js and backend technologies.
• Build integrations and automated workflows within Microsoft Azure and Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Teams, SharePoint).
• Develop secure APIs that connect to DMS, CRM, inventory, parts, service and accounting systems.
• Implement AI features with Azure OpenAI, large language models and Microsoft Copilot to improve sales, inventory and customer engagement.
• Collaborate with product, data, infrastructure and security teams to deliver solutions from concept to MVP.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in software development, engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of professional full‑stack development experience.
• Proven ability to build enterprise applications with React, Next.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with backend development in Node.js.NET/C# or Python.
• Familiarity with AI/ML technologies and large language models is an asset.
