Product Designer

About the role
Opendoor is looking for a Product Designer to own the end‑to‑end experience of a product. You will be embedded in a product pod, acting as the founding designer for that product and shaping what an excellent experience feels like.
Key responsibilities
- Drive the full product lifecycle from understanding user problems to shipping and iterating on solutions.
- Stay involved after hand‑off: talk to users, push back on unclear specs, and ensure the experience meets expectations.
- Collaborate closely with a Product Manager and Engineers, defining direction together and stepping into PM or engineering discussions as needed.
- Navigate ambiguity, shifting priorities, and changing scope while maintaining focus on delivering seamless experiences.
Required profile
- Generalist mindset with a strong interest in experimenting with new design tools.
- Desire to own product decisions and iterate continuously.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑moving, ambiguous environment.
- Not attached to a single deliverable; willing to stay engaged throughout the product’s evolution.
