Product Advisor – Automotive Sales

About the role

We are seeking a Product Advisor to join OpenRoad Volkswagen Burnaby. The role involves selling new and pre‑owned vehicles, delivering exceptional customer service and contributing to sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by assessing each client’s vehicle needs and guiding them through the purchase process.
• Sell new and pre‑owned vehicles, conduct test drives, and deliver vehicles while explaining features, warranties and paperwork.
• Prospect new customers through referral networks and follow up to grow the dealership’s customer base.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of all product specifications, options, pricing and technology, and attend product training.
• Set monthly productivity goals, track progress and adhere to dealership processes to achieve high Customer Satisfaction Index ratings.

Required profile

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a professional demeanor.
• Effective negotiation abilities and a profit‑mindset when closing sales.
• Passion for electric‑vehicle technology and a drive to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Team‑player attitude while capable of working independently.
• Valid British Columbia driver’s licence with a clean driving record.

Required skills

• Proficient with MS Office and internet applications.
• Current VSA MDC licence.
• British Columbia driver’s licence.
