About the role
We are looking for a Procurement Specialist to join our fashion manufacturing client in Saint‑Laurent, QC. The role is fully onsite and focuses on acquiring materials and services on time, at the best value, while maintaining quality.
Key responsibilities
- Place and track purchase orders, coordinate with suppliers and maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Source reliable suppliers, negotiate contracts and monitor vendor performance.
- Analyze market trends, conduct cost‑benefit analyses and manage total cost of ownership.
- Coordinate shipments, handle compliance and customs, and resolve any logistical delays.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years of experience in purchasing or procurement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration or a related field.
- Fluent English; French is an asset.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Experience using ERP/MRP systems.
