Procurement Coordinator – Contractor

About the role

This contract position supports Eli Lilly's Procurement team by handling day‑to‑day operational and transactional activities. You will ensure smooth procurement processes, maintain vendor relationships, and provide accurate data and reporting while complying with internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Create purchase orders and process sourcing requests from internal stakeholders.
• Follow up with suppliers on order confirmations, delivery timelines, and any discrepancies.
• Escalate unresolved issues and maintain tracking logs.
• Coordinate with Finance and Accounts Payable to resolve invoice issues and payment delays.
• Support vendor onboarding, maintain vendor master data, and keep contract trackers up to date.
• Organise and file contracts in procurement systems and maintain dashboards, trackers, and reporting tools.
• Prepare procurement summaries and spend reports.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, or administrative support.
• Familiarity with SAP or other procurement platforms such as Ariba.
• Experience supporting accounts payable or invoice reconciliation.
• Ability to work in a regulated corporate environment and manage multiple tasks.
