About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic, innovative Grade 3/4 teacher to join Crestwood STEM School on a full‑time, one‑year probationary contract for the 2026‑2027 school year. The role focuses on delivering a STEM‑centered curriculum that fosters collaboration, critical thinking, creativity and lifelong learning.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Grade 3/4 lessons aligned with the school’s STEM program.
• Apply a Conceptual Understanding approach and Design Thinking to deepen student learning.
• Implement the Science of Reading framework in literacy instruction.
• Use the Concrete‑Representational‑Abstract (CRA) method for numeracy development.
• Integrate appropriate technology tools to enhance classroom instruction.
• Build community partnerships and coordinate field‑study opportunities.
• Support extra‑curricular activities and contribute to a positive school community.
