About the role

The family in Etobicoke is seeking a reliable child caregiver to work in their private home. You will be responsible for the safety, well‑being and development of children of various ages while supporting household needs.

Key responsibilities

  • Supervise and care for children, including transporting them to school and appointments.
  • Plan and organize activities such as games, outings, and educational play.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals and manage light housekeeping tasks.
  • Teach personal hygiene, social development and maintain a safe home environment.
  • Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens.

Required profile

  • Efficient interpersonal and oral communication skills.
  • Patience, reliability and honesty.
  • Flexibility, initiative and good judgement.
  • Organized and able to handle up to 23 kg (50 lb) loads.
  • Clear criminal record check.
