Private Home Child Care Provider

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated child care provider to work in a private home in Dollard-des-Ormeaux. The role involves caring for a multi-aged group of children, supporting the family’s daily routine, and maintaining a safe, nurturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Follow parents’ guidance on toilet training and discipline methods.
• Provide full household responsibility in parents’ absence, including light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation.
• Shop for food and household supplies and assist with travel arrangements.
• Supervise children during outings, school runs, appointments, and trips.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals, and manage rest periods for infants and children.
• Assist with homework, personal hygiene, and social development activities.
• Maintain daily activity and health records, ensuring a safe environment.
• Organize games and outings to promote children’s development.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation (high school diploma).
• 1–2 years of child‑care experience.
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Physically able to handle tasks up to 50 lb and work under pressure.
• Reliable, patient, and excellent communication skills.

Required skills

• CPR certification.
