About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Child Care Provider to join a private household in Calgary. This full‑time, permanent position involves caring for infants and children in the employer’s home, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and development‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform light housekeeping, cleaning, and laundry for the household.
• Shop for food and household supplies and prepare nutritious meals.
• Bathe, dress, feed, and supervise infants and children throughout the day.
• Organise games, outings, and educational activities to support social development.
• Maintain daily activity logs and health records for each child.
• Transport children to school, appointments, and extracurricular activities.
• Provide emotional support and discipline according to parents’ guidelines.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation (high school) certificate.
• 3 to less than 5 years of professional child‑care experience.
• Reliable, organized, and able to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills and a client‑focused attitude.

Required skills

• Current CPR certification.
• Current First Aid certification.
