Private Debt Co-op Internship – Fall 2026

About the role

Join BCI’s Private Debt team for a Fall 2026 co‑op/internship (September‑December). You will support credit investment activities across senior and subordinated debt, contributing to due diligence, monitoring, and ad‑hoc projects.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Private Debt team with due diligence of prospective investments.
• Prepare comprehensive written reports and financial models for new opportunities.
• Monitor existing portfolio investments and identify relevant risks.
• Contribute to ad‑hoc projects and tasks as assigned.
• Work collaboratively with team members across North America, Europe and APAC.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program, preferably Business (Finance or Accounting) or Economics.
• Strong interest in investing, credit markets and financial analysis.
• Ability to communicate clearly in written and verbal form.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent research, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Competence with PowerPoint, Word and Outlook.
• Experience with Bloomberg terminal (asset).
• Familiarity with S&P Capital IQ / Market Intelligence (asset).
• Ability to develop financial models.
