Principal/Senior Principal Investment Accounting Solution Consultant

About the role

SimCorp is building a specialized Value Team for Accounting and seeks an experienced Principal or Senior Principal Investment Accounting Solution Consultant to shape, design and deliver robust accounting solutions on SimCorp One.

Key responsibilities

• Own and lead end‑to‑end solution build and delivery for complex accounting solutions, including general ledger, fund accounting and financial reporting.
• Act as stream lead, delegating tasks, managing collaboration with other Value Streams and consulting units, and maintaining overall delivery oversight.
• Analyze complex functional and operational requirements and translate them into scalable solutions while supporting escalations and high‑complexity issues.
• Mentor and support other consultants, champion new ways of working and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Deep functional expertise in investment accounting principles, NAV calculation, financial reporting and regulatory accounting (IFRS, US GAAP or local GAAP).
• Proven experience leading complex solution designs or deliveries end‑to‑end and managing multiple parallel deliveries.
• Highly developed stakeholder management and communication skills, able to explain complex topics to technical and business audiences.

Required skills

• Practical experience with SimCorp Dimension or similar platforms such as Murex, CRD.
• Hands‑on knowledge of accounting modules: investment accounting, fund accounting, general ledger, financial reporting configuration.
• Understanding of platform data models and accounting workflows.
