About the role

The Principal, Financial Engineering will lead a team of Financial Engineers and Analysts while remaining hands‑on in designing, developing, and supporting quantitative models and software platforms for Investment Operations. This senior leadership position blends deep financial expertise with advanced software engineering.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of financial engineers and analysts.
• Design, develop, and maintain quantitative valuation and risk‑management models.
• Build and support production‑grade software architecture and deployment pipelines.
• Collaborate with BCI’s Technology department for infrastructure and enterprise‑system integration.
• Drive adoption of AI‑enabled tooling, high‑performance computing, and modern DevOps practices.
• Provide direct production support for model and platform operations across Investment Operations.

Required profile

• 7+ years of progressive experience in financial engineering, quantitative finance, or a closely related discipline.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams while staying actively involved in hands‑on development.
• Strong passion for both financial modeling and software development.
