About the role
The Alberta Health Services team in Edmonton is seeking a qualified physiotherapist to deliver acute‑care therapy within a hospital setting. You will assess patients’ physical abilities, develop individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with multidisciplinary health professionals to support optimal recovery.
Key responsibilities
- Administer evaluative tests and procedures to determine patient needs.
- Assess patients’ physical abilities and design appropriate physiotherapy programs.
- Select and apply suitable exercises, apparatus, and manual manipulations.
- Maintain detailed clinical and progress reports.
- Supervise technical and support staff and coordinate with other health professionals.
Required profile
- Strong punctuality and client‑focused attitude.
- Excellent oral communication and interpersonal awareness.
- Sound judgement and efficient interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in an acute‑care environment.
