About the role
West Oliver Medical Clinic is seeking a qualified pediatrician to join its private practice in Edmonton. The role involves providing comprehensive medical care to children, diagnosing and treating a wide range of conditions, collaborating with other physicians, and supporting families in a clinic environment.
Key responsibilities
- Diagnose diseases and physiological disorders in pediatric patients.
- Prescribe medication and develop treatment plans.
- Treat diseases and physiological disorders.
- Order and interpret laboratory tests, X‑rays and other diagnostic procedures.
- Study the nature, cause and development of diseases.
- Act as a consultant to other physicians regarding child health issues.
Required profile
- Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine or optometry.
- Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities.
- 2 to less than 3 years of relevant experience.
- Availability for morning, day, evening and weekend shifts.
- Commitment to work in a private practice clinic setting.
