Pharmacy Operations Manager

About the role

The Pharmacy Operations Manager is a regulated team member who leads daily pharmacy operations, ensuring consistent production, quality assurance, and dispensing standards. Reporting to the Pharmacy Manager, this role balances people leadership with operational excellence to meet both customer expectations and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all pharmacy assistants, non‑regulated staff, and support pharmacists in daily dispensary activities.
• Collaborate with the Pharmacy Manager to ensure accurate, timely dispensing while meeting audit and regulatory standards.
• Manage scheduling, labor allocation, inventory, payroll, bill payments, drug recalls, and medication incident reporting.
• Implement CareRx SOPs, Lean processes, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Partner with regional, senior, and executive teams on company‑wide projects and strategic vision.
• Maintain client relationships to ensure high customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading pharmacy or regulated health‑care teams.
• Strong understanding of pharmacy operations, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to coach, develop, and evaluate staff performance.
