Pharmacy Assistant – Communications Support

About the role

Join Express Scripts Canada’s Mississauga pharmacy team as a Pharmacy Assistant Communications. You will provide timely support to members, handling prescription refills, data entry, and member inquiries to ensure uninterrupted medication access.

Key responsibilities

• Process prescription refills and third‑party adjudications through the Kroll system.
• Enter and maintain patient care information in the CRM platform.
• Answer member questions and resolve issues in line with Ontario College of Pharmacists regulations.
• Obtain prescription transfers, fax or call renewal requests to prescribers, and manage auto‑notifications for upcoming refills.
• Document all interactions accurately in internal systems.
• Manage team mailboxes and assist with assigned projects.
• Collaborate with Registered Technicians, Member Advisors, and Supervisors to share best practices.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; post‑secondary education in pharmacy or health services is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow regulatory guidelines.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work 2‑3 days per week on‑site in Mississauga.
