Pharmacist

About the role

Join a locally owned pharmacy to provide health, beauty and convenience services to your community. As the on‑duty pharmacist you will ensure safe dispensing, offer professional counselling and support the overall operation of the store.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily pharmacy operations, including dispensing prescriptions and over‑the‑counter products.
• Provide accurate medication counselling to customers and collaborate with health‑care providers.
• Maintain privacy and confidentiality in line with federal and provincial regulations.
• Oversee inventory, control access to the dispensary, and ensure expired products are removed.
• Handle controlled substances documentation and reporting to Health Canada.
• Support store image, financial reporting and incident documentation.

Required profile

• Independent decision‑making with strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience planning, coordinating and coaching pharmacy staff.
• Commitment to exceptional customer service and professional conduct.
• Ability to follow health and safety procedures and complete mandatory training.

Required skills

• Proficiency with pharmacy software systems.
• Strong personal computing skills for inventory and record management.
