Pharmacist (Full-time & Part-time)

About the role

Mint Health + Drugs, in partnership with I.D.A Pharmacy, is seeking a full‑time pharmacist for its Cordova Bay location and a part‑time pharmacist for its Latoria location in Victoria, BC. The role focuses on delivering professional, compassionate medication care to patients and supporting the organization’s commitment to service excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Assess patient health, manage medication therapy for chronic and acute conditions, and provide medication counseling.
• Administer vaccinations, adapt prescriptions, and manage drug therapy to prevent and treat health disorders.
• Prepare, package, and dispense medications accurately, including compounding when required.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in clinics or hospitals to optimise patient care and transition plans.
• Serve as a drug information resource for patients and other health professionals.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD).
• Active or eligible registration with the provincial pharmacy regulatory body.
• Previous experience in a hospital setting or direct patient‑care environment (preferred).
• Successful criminal record check and vulnerable sector search.
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills, with ability to work independently or within a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems, such as Kroll.
• Experience using medication order entry systems.
