About the role
Mint Health + Drugs is seeking a qualified Pharmacist to join its growing team. You will play a key part in delivering exceptional patient care, supporting operational excellence, and contributing to a compassionate healthcare environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assess patient health, manage medication therapy for chronic and acute conditions, and provide medication counseling.
- Administer vaccinations, adapt prescriptions, and manage drug therapy to prevent and treat health disorders.
- Prepare, package, and dispense medications with accurate dosage, labeling, and storage.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in clinics or hospitals to optimize patient care and transition plans.
- Serve as a drug information resource for patients and healthcare professionals.
Required profile
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD.
- Active or eligible registration with the applicable provincial pharmacy regulatory body.
- Experience in a hospital setting or direct patient care preferred.
- Successful Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Search.
- Strong clinical assessment and communication abilities; capable of working independently or within a team.
- Additional Prescribing Authorization (APA) preferred.
Required skills
- Electronic health records (e.g., Kroll).
- Medication order entry systems.
- Vaccination administration.
