About the role

S&R Seniors Living is hiring a Personal Support Worker (PSW) for its Seniors Living villages in Sarnia. The work takes place inside a resident's home, where staff support the physical and emotional well-being of residents and their families. The posting is listed as part-time.

Key responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living
• Provide companionship and spend time with residents
• Complete point-of-care tasks specific to each resident supported
• Keep the resident's area clean and clutter-free
• Share resident updates with the care team
• Support team members in the home during themed days
• Help residents get up during mealtime and provide support through meals

Required profile

• Personal Support Worker (PSW) or Health Care Aide (HCA) certification, or experience in personal care
• Vulnerable Sector Screening (VSS) check completed within the past 6 months
