About the role
The Personal Support Worker provides essential in‑home assistance to clients, ensuring their comfort, safety and well‑being. Working directly in the client’s residence, you will deliver personal care, medication administration and companionship while supporting daily living activities.
Key responsibilities
- Administer bedside and personal care, including bathing and hygiene assistance.
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor client health.
- Assist clients with feeding, regular exercise such as walking, and collection of specimens.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Support personal care tasks and maintain a safe home environment.
Required profile
- Reliable, punctual and honest with a strong client‑focus.
- Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organized, patient and able to work independently.
- Physically capable of sitting, standing, walking and performing repetitive tasks.
