About the role
We are looking for a compassionate Personal Support Worker to provide in‑home assistance to elderly clients in Toronto. The role involves delivering personal care, light housekeeping and companionship to support independent living.
Key responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications safely and record usage.
- Assist clients with regular exercise such as walking.
- Launder clothing and household linens and perform minor repairs.
- Carry out light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Deliver personal care including bathing, dressing and grooming.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation and a Personal Support Worker Certificate.
- 1‑7 months of relevant experience.
- Basic security clearance.
- Ability to lift up to 23 kg and perform bending, crouching and kneeling.
- Strong punctuality, reliability and client‑focused attitude.
- Excellent oral communication and patience.
