About the role
We are looking for a reliable home child care provider to support a family in Calgary. The role involves caring for infants and children in the family’s residence, ensuring their safety, well‑being and development while parents are away.
Key responsibilities
- Change diapers, bathe, dress and feed infants and children.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals and supervise mealtimes.
- Maintain a safe, healthy home environment and perform light housekeeping duties.
- Shop for food and household supplies, wash, iron and press clothing and linens.
- Travel with the family on trips, assisting with child supervision and housekeeping.
- Discipline children according to parents’ guidelines and support their emotional well‑being.
- Keep records of daily activities and health information.
- Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development.
- Supervise and care for children throughout the day.
- Cook meals for the family.
Required profile
- Patience and a caring attitude.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in child care.
