About the role

We are seeking an experienced full‑time nanny to provide comprehensive childcare and household support for a family in Toronto. The role involves caring for children of various ages, ensuring their safety, well‑being, and development while the parents are away. You will be responsible for creating a nurturing environment, planning daily routines, and handling light household tasks to keep the home running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Assume full responsibility for the household in the parents’ absence.
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• Discipline children according to parents’ methods.
• Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development.
• Maintain a safe and healthy home environment.
• Organize activities such as games and outings.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
• Supervise and care for children, tending to their emotional well‑being.
• Assist with homework and educational activities.
• Coordinate appointments and transportation to activities.
• Manage children’s laundry and keep belongings organized.
• Monitor screen time and ensure balanced play.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience in childcare or nanny roles.
• CPR certification.
• Fluent in English (or French) as required.
• Reliable, trustworthy, and able to work independently.
• Valid driver’s license if transportation is needed.
