Performance Strategy Business Analyst (Early Career)

About the role

This is an entry-level Business Analyst position within the Partners in Performance team, part of Accenture, a global management consulting firm focused on human performance. The role sits at the frontline of change for clients, supplying reliable data and solid analysis so that improvement teams can make real-time decisions. It is a full-time, early career position open to multiple locations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in delivering measurable improvements and in implementing processes and systems that sustain ongoing improvements, especially by supporting prioritization and problem-solving.
• Work closely with team members and client team members to collect and analyze data and provide insights.
• Occasionally take on front-line coaching roles, especially with client analysts, to broaden management experience.

Required profile

• Undergraduate or postgraduate degree; English is required because the role works with multinational teams where English is the common language.
• Fluent English and strong communication skills, able to answer hard questions clearly under pressure and use visual tools to share insights.
• Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills, including the ability to coach, influence and build trust with peers and clients.
• Ability to travel extensively, with about 80% of the role involving on-site travel to US and Canadian mining and other natural resources sites, plus other international opportunities.

Preferred qualifications

• Graduation from a top-tier university with distinction average.
• Natural resources industry experience.
• Relevant work experience or internships in blue-chip consulting or industrial companies.
• Above-average knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel; Power BI is advantageous.

The annual salary range for British Columbia, Ontario and New Brunswick is $119,050 to $169,050, with openings in Toronto, Calgary, Montreal, Ottawa, Regina and Vancouver.
