People Lead – HR Operations

About the role

The People Lead partners with the Store Manager and leadership team to drive human‑resources initiatives that ensure compliance, boost associate engagement, and support operational excellence within the store.

Key responsibilities

• Assist leadership with recruitment, hiring, staffing, development, succession planning, scheduling, attendance, and performance management.
• Analyze HR‑related issues, provide guidance on company HR programs, and implement action plans aligned with business needs.
• Model Walmart core values, promote a respectful culture, and address associate concerns through proper channels.
• Lead adoption of digital HR tools and technology services, training associates on new ways of working.
• Build relationships with stakeholders to identify business needs, monitor progress, and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, ethics, and the Open Door Policy.

Required profile

• Minimum age of 16 years.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze data, monitor results, and identify process improvements.
• Commitment to Walmart’s values and ethical standards.
