People & Culture Co‑Op Student

About the role

MealSuite is seeking a motivated People & Culture Co‑Op Student to support its HR team during the September‑December 2026 term. Reporting to the People Operations Specialist, you will gain hands‑on experience across performance development, engagement, talent acquisition, analytics, and onboarding.

Key responsibilities

• Shadow leader conversations and assist in rolling out the skills matrix for teams.
• Support eNPS coordination, CSR committee initiatives, and update Town Hall presentation slides.
• Create job postings, review applications, and help launch the 2027 co‑op program.
• Maintain accurate HR data in BambooHR and contribute to people‑analytics reporting.
• Assist with onboarding preparation, first‑day orientations, exit interviews, and checklist tracking.
• Perform miscellaneous administrative tasks such as data entry and employee handbook updates.
• Lead projects including employee resource group creation, cultural calendar planning, and BambooHR data migration.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a Canadian post‑secondary program in Business, Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to listen actively and ask clarifying questions.
• Proactive attitude, capable of identifying issues early and providing regular progress updates.
• Team‑oriented mindset with the ability to build relationships across functions.
