Payroll Administrator – Full-time Permanent

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Payroll Administrator to join our team in St. John’s. The role involves managing the full payroll cycle, ensuring accurate payments and compliance with statutory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Calculate and prepare payroll cheques and maintain payroll records.
• Store, update and retrieve financial data; perform data entry and reconcile payroll to bank statements.
• Prepare period‑end reports, T4 statements and other statutory filings.
• Administer benefits such as pension plans, insurance, and leave entitlements.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of payroll or related experience.
• Certified Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
