Part‑time Systems Administrator (On‑call)

About the role

Forward Funding is looking for a detail‑oriented Systems Administrator to join the team on a flexible, part‑time basis. You will play a hands‑on role in preparing fully configured computers for new employees, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and configure company computers, peripherals, and required software for new hires.
• Install operating systems, applications, and security tools, and verify functionality.
• Test network connectivity, user access, and overall system performance before hand‑over.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any configuration or hardware issues that arise.
• Maintain basic documentation of setup procedures and configurations.
• Coordinate with internal teams when additional technical support is needed.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and basic software configuration.
• Experience with Salesforce is required.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently and independently.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and reliable response to setup requests.
• Preferably a recent graduate or current student in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
