Part‑time Relationship Manager – Hybrid (Quebec City)

About the role

The Canada Homestay Network Society is seeking a part‑time Relationship Manager to join its Operations Team in Québec City. Working both from home and on‑site, you will support international students, host families and partner schools, ensuring smooth cultural integration and a positive homestay experience.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and nurture relationships with internal staff, host families, students and schools.
• Provide guidance on cultural practices, academic or social issues, and homestay responsibilities.
• Deliver in‑person training and orientation sessions for hosts and new students.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Respond promptly to crisis situations and refer cases to health professionals when needed.
• Travel within a 100 km radius to support local host families and attend school meetings.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience in homestay coordination, student support or a related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; French is mandatory for Quebec assignments.
• Community‑college certificate or diploma (one‑year program) or equivalent.
• International experience such as hosting students or traveling abroad is preferred.
• Ability to plan events and speak comfortably in public.

Required skills

• Fluency in English and French.

• Hybrid work arrangement with a flexible schedule (20‑30 hours per week).
• Hourly wage between $21.00 and $23.00 CAD.
