Part‑time Relationship Manager – Hybrid (Montreal)

About the role

The Canada Homestay Network Society is seeking a part‑time Relationship Manager to join its Operations Team in Montreal. Working hybrid from home and the field, you will help international students settle into Canadian host families while fostering strong community ties.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and manage relationships between internal and external stakeholders.
• Support hosts, parents, and students in navigating cultural differences.
• Plan and deliver in‑person training and orientation sessions for hosts and new students.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate updates to all parties.
• Build and nurture a supportive local network of host families.
• Provide ongoing assistance to student‑host families throughout the program.
• Respond promptly to crisis situations and refer cases to health professionals when needed.
• Participate in intake processes and school meetings.
• Assume custodianship for students under 18 within a 100 km radius.
• Travel across the local community and surrounding areas as required.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience in homestay or a related field.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Fluent French (mandatory for Quebec positions).
• One‑year community college certificate or diploma.
• International experience, preferably involving hosting students.
