Part‑Time Pharmacist – Community Hospital

About the role

The Brant Community Healthcare System is seeking a part‑time pharmacist to provide clinical pharmacy coverage across its acute‑care and urgent‑care sites in Brantford and Paris, Ontario. Reporting to the Director of Pharmacy Services, you will join a multidisciplinary team dedicated to high‑quality, patient‑centered care.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver medication dispensing, verification, and counseling services in hospital and urgent‑care settings.
• Provide clinical pharmacy support to a variety of inpatient and outpatient units.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to optimise medication therapy.
• Participate in medication safety initiatives and quality‑improvement projects.
• Maintain accurate pharmacy records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Licensed pharmacist in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Commitment to patient safety and continuous learning.
