About the role

The Café Manager will lead daily operations at Butter & Cup Café & Tea House in Caledon, Ontario. This part‑time, on‑site position focuses on delivering exceptional guest experiences while maintaining efficient service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day café operations, ensuring smooth service flow.
• Manage staff scheduling, training, and performance to foster a collaborative team environment.
• Control inventory, place orders, and monitor supplies to keep stock levels optimal.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
• Drive sales through upselling, promotions, and monitoring performance metrics.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues to maintain high satisfaction.

Required profile

• Strong customer service and communication abilities.
• Experience in food & beverage or service environments, with knowledge of hygiene standards.
• Leadership and team‑management skills, including scheduling.
• Organizational and time‑management capabilities to juggle multiple tasks.
