Parts Counterperson – Store 90

About the role

The Parts Counterperson at Store 90 is the primary point of contact for customers seeking parts and service support. You will ensure safe, efficient, and courteous handling of parts inquiries while promoting brand loyalty for the Caterpillar product line.

Key responsibilities

• Demonstrate safe, environmentally sound and healthy work behaviours in line with Toromont’s health and safety policies.
• Enhance the customer experience by providing product expertise, parts recommendations, and communicating promotions.
• Manage parts inquiries via the counter, email, and phone, ensuring timely and courteous responses.
• Oversee daily parts operations: sourcing, ordering, back‑order follow‑up, inventory counts, core and warranty processing, and hydraulic hose assembly.
• Provide on‑call service as required, including occasional weekends and evenings.

Required profile

• Minimum post‑secondary education.
• 3+ years of experience in a parts service role.
• Familiarity with DBS, SIS, Microsoft Word and Excel.
