Part-Time Sales Assistant

About the role

Peak Performance, a skiwear brand founded in 1986, has just opened a new store at the Toronto Premium Outlets in Halton Hills, Ontario, and is looking for a part-time Sales Assistant. The role focuses on driving sales, delivering excellent customer service, keeping the store well stocked and visually appealing, and helping the team reach sales targets. The position is part time, around 15-30 hours per week, with shifts during the day and in the evening.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers, giving product information and recommendations.
• Operate the point-of-sale system and handle transactions accurately.
• Manage inventory, including receiving, stocking and organizing merchandise.
• Keep the store clean, organized and visually appealing according to corporate visual merchandising guidelines.
• Work with the team to reach sales goals and use selling techniques.

Required profile

• Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a sales-driven, customer-focused mindset.
• Team spirit and attention to detail for visual merchandising standards.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and varied hours.
• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong spoken and written English; Mandarin and Cantonese are an asset.
