About the role

Join a locally owned Shoppers Drug Mart store in Vancouver and provide friendly, efficient checkout service to our community. This part‑time day shift position focuses on delivering excellent customer experiences while maintaining a tidy and secure checkout area.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and process transactions accurately, including scanning items, applying coupons, and handling PC Optimum loyalty cards.
• Manage cash, lottery tickets, and stamp inventory with precision.
• Maintain a clean, organized checkout space and ensure proper merchandising of designated areas.
• Follow loss‑prevention standards and store policies at all times.
• Comply with health, safety, uniform, and dress‑code guidelines.
• Assist with receipt documentation, returns, and other general store duties as needed.

Required profile

• Strong judgment, decision‑making and planning abilities.
• Ability to balance teamwork with efficient order processing.
• Organized, detail‑oriented and capable of maintaining neat work areas.
• Good communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
