Painting Supervisor – Construction

About the role

The Painting Supervisor will lead painting activities on construction sites, ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to high quality standards. This permanent, full‑time position reports to the site manager and works closely with tradespeople and suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare production and other reports.
• Supervise workers and painting projects.
• Coordinate and schedule painting activities.
• Recruit, hire, and train painting staff.
• Estimate costs and material requirements.
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
• Recommend personnel actions and manage staffing changes.
• Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies.
• Lead and instruct individuals on site.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• 3 to less than 5 years of experience supervising painting work in construction.
• Strong time‑management and leadership abilities.

Required skills

• Knowledge of health and safety regulations applicable to construction painting.
• Ability to estimate costs and material quantities.
