OT Specialist / Consultant (Hybrid, Calgary)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced OT Specialist/Consultant to work on a contract basis in Calgary. The role is hybrid, allowing you to split time between the office and remote work while supporting multiple sites.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct detailed analysis of existing operational processes, standards and OT systems to identify improvement opportunities.
• Analyze requirements across facilities and ensure documented specifications support a unified strategy.
• Develop and recommend a comprehensive roadmap to optimise OT systems, aligning with business objectives.
• Create documentation such as business requirements, process flows and system specifications, and assist in presenting recommendations.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in OT and business analysis.
• Record and document troubleshooting activities, wiring and networking work, and develop related procedures.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in operational technology, industrial automation or related fields.
• Proven ability to analyse complex processes and translate findings into actionable strategies.
• Strong documentation skills and experience producing technical specifications and presentations.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
