About the role
This role focuses on shaping practical, scalable, and business‑aligned talent and organizational development practices within a large retail environment. You will partner with HR and business leaders to translate complex organizational needs into simple tools and processes that drive consistency, execution, and data‑driven talent decisions.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain organizational design tools, role structures, and documentation that provide workforce clarity.
- Support succession planning by maintaining tools, frameworks, and reporting to improve visibility into leadership pipelines and talent risks.
- Produce workforce and talent insights through HR data analysis, reporting, and interpretation for business decision‑making.
- Design and implement career pathing frameworks and resources that enable internal mobility and employee development.
- Provide guidance and training to HR Business Partners and leaders on organizational design and talent management practices.
- Create practical job aids, templates, and training materials to ensure consistent adoption of OD and talent frameworks.
- Support execution of enterprise talent initiatives, organizational development projects, and annual talent review cycles.
Required profile
- Post‑secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3‑5 years of experience in Organizational Development, Talent Management, HR Operations, or Organizational Design.
- Experience supporting succession planning, talent reviews, or workforce planning processes.
- Strong ability to build HR frameworks, tools, templates, and structured documentation.
- Solid analytical skills with experience working with HR or workforce data and generating insights.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills across HR and business teams.
- Strong organization and prioritization abilities in a dynamic, multi‑stakeholder environment.
- Asset: HR certification (CHRP/CHRL), bilingualism (English/French), or retail/multi‑site experience.
