About the role
We are looking for a reliable orchard worker to join VEEKAY ORCHARDS on a full‑time, permanent basis. The role involves hands‑on work in a fast‑paced cherry orchard, supporting all stages of crop production from planting to market.
Key responsibilities
- Apply fertilizers, mix and spray crops as instructed.
- Plant, cultivate, irrigate and train cherry trees.
- Harvest, sort, grade and pack fruits and vegetables.
- Load, unload and transport crates, supplies and produce.
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
- Detect and report disease or health problems in crops.
Required profile
- Team player able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Physical ability to stand, bend, crouch and lift for extended periods.
Required skills
- Operate farm machinery.
- Maintain farm equipment.
