Operations Supervisor – Commercial Property Management

About the role

Anthem is seeking an energetic Operations Supervisor to manage a mixed‑use commercial portfolio in Victoria. The role combines hands‑on maintenance, tenant relations, and coordination of contractors to keep properties safe, functional, and welcoming.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of retail and office spaces, including Market Square.
• Perform basic repairs such as minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, irrigation, and painting tasks.
• Log maintenance activities, delegate work orders, and track completion results.
• Coordinate preventative‑maintenance programs for building systems, lighting, fire safety, and landscaping.
• Oversee contractors, ensure quality workmanship, and manage estimates and planning meetings.
• Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies for the maintenance team.
• Assist with on‑site event set‑ups, tenant move‑ins/outs, and build‑out projects.
• Provide emergency response on call and offer vacation relief to property teams.

Required profile

• Proven ability to build positive relationships with tenants, customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Strong multitasking skills and a self‑starter work ethic.
• Forward‑thinking problem solver comfortable taking charge of projects.
• Excellent public‑facing skills and comfort working outdoors in varied weather.
• Reliable transportation to visit assigned properties.
• High school diploma or GED preferred with experience in similar maintenance roles.
