About the role
The Operations Officer – Administration will support the smooth functioning of our organization by implementing and overseeing administrative procedures. This role requires a detail‑oriented professional who can manage budgets, handle data entry, and ensure compliance with government information legislation.
Key responsibilities
- Implement new administrative procedures and review existing ones.
- Establish work priorities, monitor deadlines, and ensure procedures are followed.
- Administer policies related to record releases under access‑to‑information and privacy legislation.
- Assist in preparing the operating budget, maintain inventory, and control expenditures.
- Assemble data and produce periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence.
- Perform data entry and oversee office administrative processes.
- Plan and control budget and expenditures.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate (high school).
- 5+ years of experience in administrative or operations roles.
- Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and capacity to meet tight deadlines.
- Willingness to relocate if required.
Required skills
- Proficiency with MS Excel.
- Proficiency with MS Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience with spreadsheet management.
