Operational Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an Operations Specialist to support the daily operations of our property management and short‑term hospitality businesses. The role is hands‑on, requiring proactive problem‑solving and direct interaction with owners, tenants, guests and vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to emails, messages and calls from owners, tenants, guests, vendors, contractors, applicants and team members.
• Assist Airbnb guests with access issues and coordinate urgent repairs.
• Communicate with property owners to address concerns and provide updates.
• Help tenants resolve problems and follow up with applicants.
• Schedule inspections, coordinate vendors and manage leasing activity.
• Document communications, track follow‑up actions and ensure issues are resolved rather than merely forwarded.
• Prioritise operational tasks and identify gaps missed by the broader team.

Required profile

• Critical thinking – ability to assess situations, gather information and make sensible decisions.
• Exceptional communication – clear, professional English in email, messaging and phone.
• Customer‑service mindset – make owners, tenants, guests and partners feel heard and supported.
• Ownership – take initiative to resolve problems without waiting for direction.
