Opérateur de presse – Injection plastique

About the role

The press operator is responsible for safely and efficiently running plastic injection presses. Working either independently or as part of a team, the operator ensures that each part meets customer specifications and quality standards while supporting productivity goals.

Key responsibilities

• Read and apply paper or computerized work instructions.
• Operate the injection press, including mold changes and start‑stop procedures.
• Remove molded parts, verify proper cooling, and perform required finishing operations such as core cutting, burr/flash removal with a heated gun, and application of adhesive strips, labels, color dots, inserts, or foam.
• Inspect parts visually and dimensionally, record production and inspection data, and make level‑1 quality decisions.
• Package, label, and palletize finished parts according to customer specifications.
• Maintain raw material and supply availability, and report equipment issues to supervisors or quality personnel.

• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.
• Attention to detail for quality inspection and documentation.
• Capacity to follow standard operating procedures and communicate issues promptly.
