About the role

Join the Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform as an online Nursing Tutor, providing personalized, one‑on‑one instruction to nursing students across the United States. Work from home, set your own schedule, and help learners succeed in coursework and NCLEX preparation.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver live, interactive tutoring sessions via the platform’s AI‑enhanced Live Learning interface.
• Explain nursing fundamentals, health assessment, pharmacology, pathophysiology, and specialty areas.
• Guide students through clinical reasoning, medication calculations, care‑plan development, and NCLEX‑style questions.
• Adapt lessons to individual learning styles using case studies and real‑time instructional support.
• Invoice completed sessions and receive payment up to twice per week.

Required profile

• Deep knowledge of nursing curricula for ADN and BSN programs.
• Experience preparing students for clinical rotations and the NCLEX exam.
• Strong communication skills and an engaging, friendly teaching style.
• Ability to simplify complex concepts and adapt to diverse learner needs.
