Onboarding Coach

About the role

The Onboarding Coach will design and deliver a structured induction experience for new hourly employees, ensuring they quickly become productive and engaged members of the workforce. This role blends instructional design, data‑driven performance tracking, and hands‑on coaching in a fast‑paced, shift‑based environment.

Key responsibilities

• Create a comprehensive, engaging induction flow covering orientation, safety, and role‑specific training.
• Coordinate training sessions and on‑the‑job learning for each new hire.
• Track key metrics such as attrition rates, time‑to‑training, and report findings to management.
• Use feedback, performance data, and best practices to continuously improve the onboarding process.
• Maintain training records that comply with OSHA, ISO, and internal audit standards.
• Act as the first‑line coach for new hires, fostering engagement and early retention.

Required profile

• Strong instructional design and facilitation abilities.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, shift‑based environment.
